I originally trained as a commercial photographer and soon realised that my motivations had their origins in fine art and painting. After college I decided to set up a small photographic studio and experiment with in-camera montage techniques, incorporating the use of collage and mixed media.The work I developed in these early years, lead me into film and video where I was asked to produce and direct two music promo's on behalf of Blue Mountain Publishing (part of Island Records). Although I then digressed into other creative areas such as interior and production design, I always wanted to return into developing new and original techniques in experimental photography and print. I recently completed an MA in multi-disciplinary printmaking, where I re-kindled my interests combining innovative photography and fine art.
